Dinner is over and the kitchen is cleaned up. Time to go into the one place I can get lost for hours, my shop. Unfortunately I can get lost in some of the projects left unfinished, the tools left out, or the drawers that always seem too full. I find it hard to stay focused on one thing when there is so much to do to create the ideal shop in my mind. Trouble is that idea changes from time to time and I find my self creating a way to hide more stuff with hanging brackets and drawer dividers instead of starting or even finishing a project. Sweep the floor, Toss out the old tubes of caulk in the cabinet and before you know it, its almost time to turn out the lights. I got an Amazon Echo for Christmas and she will play my favorite music or tell me the answers to the most obscure questions. Too bad I cant get her to organize my sand paper by grit. Oh well, that's for another day.

This sounds like me, I also have this problem. Some of it is because I am to have a back operation on wednesday the 18th. of January 2017, and my wife is still getting Chemo for Colan Cancer. I will fineally snap out of it about April, after the wood working show. Just remember, You're not alone. Just check with any of us. We'll be glad to help in our own way.
Sounds all too familar. Cleaning up and organizing is a job I wish I could hire out- but not in the budget. So I will continue to do what I enjoy and clean and organize as I must to avoid spending valuable time looking for something I need for an enjoyable task. Talk about chasing your tail- a conundrum!
Organizing is the issue. There are always a lot of stuff need to place. In a wood shop, you need put tools in right location. Good organization will make the shop a clean and neat one.
